More cards

Here are some cards that I have done recently. The orange and blue one is from the mini catalog, Hi and Hello is in the current catty,
the blue with the snail is from the set winged things that was retired last year, and the coral card is from the hostess set time well spent. I hope to get some cards done tonight so that I can upload new cards. I will be working with some of the preview items (new in color paper and ink) so that will be fun to show. Must go stamp.

Gina K swap

I finished my spot for the Gina K swap on SCS. I like the way it turned out. I used my copic markers for the second time. If you are having problems with them like I was (am) I suggest the blog I like markers. I have the link here on the blog. I will not be getting much stamping done because of my sons sleep study so I will only be posting SU news.

First bit of news is from July 1st through August 10th Hodgepodge Hardware is on sale 25%.

Second SU is unvailing a new like of products called Decor elements. See the SU website for more infomation.

Last but not least the accessory retiered list will be out on July 21st. These will be while supplies last. I will post the list when it comes out.

As promised I finished my cards for the cocktail swap. The top of the bottom image is the front and the bottom is the inside. It is rose red cardstock base with barely banana layering. I colored the wine glass with bravo burgundy on the edges and rose red all over. I then used crystal effects over the "liquid".

I also finished a Bella swap last night on the right. I was done with PMS Bella on blush blossom cardstock base with Chocolate chip layering. The ribbon is from basic gray. I colored in the image with my SU markers.

Already a second post

I just got this wonderful tip on how to make the new in colors in to markers. I wanted to share. So here it is:
Purchase a pack of Blender pens to create 3 custom markers. (to create all 6 colors you'll need 2 packs.) Remove the tip of the blender pen and set down on a plastic surface (butter tub lids work great!) Drop a few drops of the appropriate re-inker on to the blender pen tip to saturate. Allow to set a few minutes and then return to the pen casing. You'll want to color both ends of the blender pen with the same color! Remember, the shaft of the blender pens is hollow and if you put a different color on each end you'll eventually have "mud" for a color. You can re-ink dried up markers in this same way. (brush tip only) I used a label machine to create a color label for each new marker.

It begins!

Here I am blogging. I decided that I need a place to post my work and let my customers see specials. I am not much of a writer so you will have to stick with me and just be happy with the information not the quantity of writing. So for my first project post I will show you the tins I altered last night. These were made for a swap on SCS. I used Bo Bunny summer fun paper on the front and sides. On the back I used Best Creations sea shell. Then I glued wooden pieces from Micheal's on. I finished it off by tieing May Art grosgrain ribbon in brown, blue and lime green on the handle. I hope you like.

Tonight I am working on a swap from SCS called It's cocktail time! I will post the picture when I finish. I hope you enjoyed my first post. Come back soon.
